Engineers

An engineer is anyone in the field answering workflows on WhatsApp. They don't need an app, a login, or a laptop -- just a phone with WhatsApp.

Adding

  1. Click + Add engineer on the dashboard.
  2. Enter their name and mobile number (defaults to UK +44; use the picker for other countries).
  3. Click Add. They receive a WhatsApp intro message.

What the engineer sees

A normal WhatsApp chat. When you send a workflow, they get something like:

Hi Tom -- Acme Gas has asked you to run the Annual Safety Check at 14 Station Road. Ready to start? Reply YES when you're on site.

Questions arrive one at a time. The engineer replies with text, numbers, photos, or voice notes. When finished, the report is generated and emailed to you.

Removing

Click the ✕ next to their name. Active runs finish but no new ones can be sent. Historical data is kept so reports remain complete.

Seats

Each plan caps active engineers. The dashboard shows seats remaining. To add more, upgrade your plan.
